Radio Frequency System Engineer

I’m recruiting for a leading defense company in Be’er Ya’akov for a Radio Communication Systems Engineer to join a highly technical, multidisciplinary engineering team.

📍 Location: Be’er Ya’akov, Israel

• Define and develop end-to-end architectures for advanced radio communication systems.
• Write and manage system requirements and technical specifications.
• Perform Link Budget, channel calculations, sensitivity analysis, and system margin analysis.
• Work on wireless communication architectures, modulation schemes, and network access methods.
• Lead system integration, testing, validation, and field trials.
• Work hands-on with RF test and measurement equipment in laboratory and field environments.
• Collaborate closely with Hardware, Software, Firmware, RF, and System Engineering teams.
• Troubleshoot complex system-level issues and perform technical root-cause analysis.
• Lead engineering tasks and drive projects to meet technical goals and timelines.

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Physics – required.
• 5+ years of experience in Radio Communication / Wireless Systems Engineering – required.
• Proven experience in the specification and architecture of complex communication systems.
• Experience writing system requirements and technical specifications.
• Hands-on experience with Link Budget, channel calculations, sensitivity analysis, and system margins.
• Strong understanding of wireless communication architectures and modulation techniques.
• Experience integrating and validating multidisciplinary systems.
• Experience working across Hardware / Software / Firmware interfaces.
• Strong system-level thinking, analytical skills, and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to work hands-on in laboratories and in the field.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in multidisciplinary engineering environments.

• Previous experience in the defense industry / defense systems / military technology.
• Background in RF, Radio, Wireless Communications, Tactical Communications, C4I, Data Links, or SATCOM.
• Hands-on experience with RF test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, VNAs, etc.
