Senior Commercial Finance Manager – Global Projects & Tenders

A leading global company is looking for a Senior Commercial Finance Manager to take ownership of the financial and commercial aspects of major projects and tenders.

This high-impact role combines commercial finance, budgeting, tender analysis, procurement projects, contract management, and business partnering. You will work closely with senior management and international stakeholders, particularly the company’s headquarters in Germany.

The position reports directly to the CFO and is part of a team that includes another professional in a parallel role.

Key Responsibilities

- Take ownership of the financial and commercial performance of large-scale, complex projects.

- Support and manage tenders, including pricing, cost analysis, risk assessment, and financial feasibility.

- Provide financial and commercial support for procurement projects and supplier engagements.

- Build and manage project budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.

- Monitor revenue, costs, profitability, cash flow, and overall project performance.

- Manage the commercial aspects of customer and supplier contracts, including variations, claims, exceptions, and disputes.

- Identify financial and commercial risks and opportunities and develop mitigation plans.

- Prepare financial models, business cases, and scenario analyses to support management decisions.

- Present forecasts, performance analyses, and business insights to the CFO and senior management.

- Collaborate closely with the company’s headquarters in Germany and other international stakeholders.

- Partner with Procurement, Engineering, Operations, Legal, and Finance teams.

- Manage foreign exchange exposure and other project-related financial risks.

- Lead process improvement, efficiency, and digitalization initiatives.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

- At least 5 years of experience in finance, commercial finance, project controlling, or a similar role.

- Significant experience working in a global company with headquarters abroad—required.

- Strong commercial background, including experience with contracts, tenders, budgets, or procurement projects.

- Experience as a Commercial Finance Manager, Financial Lead, Project Controller, Finance Business Partner, or in a similar position.

- Proven experience managing the financial and commercial aspects of complex projects.

- Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical capabilities.

- Experience working with international and cross-functional stakeholders.

- Confidence presenting financial data, insights, and recommendations to senior management.

- Strong business acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to see the bigger picture.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

- Fluent English, including the ability to lead business discussions and deliver presentations—required.

Location & Employment Terms

- Two days per week in Ashkelon.

- One day per week in Rosh HaAyin.

- Hybrid working model.

- Company car included.
