Role Description-

• Serving as a Senior Backend Security Software Engineer, joining the core engineering group building the algorithmic engine of an advanced Active API Security Testing & Automated Scanning platform.
• Designing and implementing scalable, high-performance backend architectures in Node.js and TypeScript that identify security vulnerabilities and logic flaws in APIs during pre-production development stages.
• Developing behavioral learning algorithms that analyze application context, infer API schemas, and autonomously synthesize structurally valid requests.
• Architecting offensive simulation mechanisms that inject sophisticated payload manipulations into API flows to actively surface deep vulnerabilities.
• Building automated analysis pipelines to inspect HTTP responses, evaluate exploit success, and score application-layer security posture in real time.
• Engineering new core scanning primitives, protocol parsers, and automated security detection features.
• Conducting low-level system debugging, network packet inspections, and distributed service optimization across Linux-based cloud environments.
• Operating at the unique intersection of deep software engineering, algorithmic logic, and offensive security (AppSec / API Security).

Requirements-

• 4+ years of hands-on software development experience focusing on Backend Engineering – Mandatory
• Deep, hands-on experience and solid system comprehension of Linux operating systems and environments – Mandatory
• Significant practical background in Cybersecurity, with specific expertise in developing defensive security platforms or offensive security/simulation tooling – Mandatory
• Extensive, in-depth technical mastery of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, communication mechanisms, and modern API architectures (REST, GraphQL, etc.) – Mandatory
• Strong software engineering foundations and practical experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns – Mandatory
• Outstanding debugging, protocol analysis, and root-cause troubleshooting skills across distributed architectures – Mandatory
• Hands-on proficiency with at least one of the following core technologies: PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes – Mandatory
• Hands-on proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript – Significant Advantage
• Solid background in Web Application Security, OWASP API Top 10, or dynamic application security testing (DAST) – Significant Advantage
