Role Description The Strategic Sourcing Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Herzliya. This role is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing international food suppliers for the Israeli retail market, with a focus on private label and long-term partnerships. Day-to-day tasks include conducting supplier assessments, leading contract negotiations, managing procurement activities, and overseeing supplier performance and development initiatives. The Strategic Sourcing Manager collaborates with internal stakeholders and retail partners to optimize cost, quality, and service levels, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards. The role also involves monitoring market trends, supporting new product introductions, and continuously improving sourcing strategies and processes.
Qualifications

• Ability to perform thorough Supplier Evaluation and Supplier Development to build and maintain a high-quality supplier base.
• Proficiency in Supplier Management, including performance monitoring, relationship building, and issue resolution.
• Strong skills in Contract Negotiation and Procurement to secure favorable terms and reliable supply.
• Experience in strategic sourcing within FMCG, food, or retail sectors is highly beneficial.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with competence in data analysis and cost optimization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Hebrew proficiency is an advantage.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are a plus.
