Role Description The Development Manager (מנהל/ת פיתוח) will lead development activities specifically within the igaming, gambling, and betting industry, overseeing end-to-end delivery of software products and platforms. This full-time, on-site role in Israel involves managing development teams, setting technical direction, prioritizing work, and ensuring that projects meet quality, performance, regulatory, and security standards. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with product, operations, and compliance stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical plans, and monitoring project timelines, budgets, and risks. The role requires hands-on involvement in architecture decisions, code review processes, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflows and system scalability. The Development Manager will also mentor team members, support professional growth, and promote best practices that align with industry-specific demands and company objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing software development teams and projects in the igaming/gambling/betting domain, including responsibility for delivery and quality.
• Strong background in software architecture and engineering practices (e.g., scalable backend systems, APIs, microservices, databases, and integration with payment or gaming platforms).
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with product, operations, and compliance teams to translate business needs into technical requirements and roadmaps.
• Experience with Agile or similar development methodologies, including planning sprints, tracking progress, and driving continuous improvement.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to guide diverse technical teams and align them around shared goals.
• Familiarity with regulatory, responsible gaming, security, and data protection considerations relevant to igaming/gambling/betting systems.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a practical approach to risk management, prioritization, and decision-making under time constraints.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
• Fluency in English for professional communication; Hebrew language skills are an advantage for local collaboration.
