Technical Sales Engineer | Power Electronics

Gil-Ad Sage Agencies Ltd. is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to represent and grow the business of a leading global manufacturer of advanced power electronic components and solutions.

This is a hands-on technical and business development role, working directly with customers’ R&D, hardware and engineering teams to identify new opportunities, develop new designs, and drive them from initial concept through qualification and mass production.

• Become the local technical expert for the manufacturer’s product portfolio

• Work closely with R&D and hardware engineers on product selection and technical solutions

• Identify and develop new customers, projects and design opportunities

• Drive design-in activities from initial opportunity through qualification and mass production

• Take ownership of technical and commercial follow-up with customers

• Build strong relationships with engineering and purchasing teams

• Work directly with the manufacturer’s global engineering, product and business teams

• Background in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a similar technical field

• Understanding of power electronics – an advantage

• Experience with electronic components, FAE, application engineering or technical sales – an advantage

• Strong technical capabilities and ability to work directly with engineering teams

• Business development mindset with a proactive, hunter approach

• Strong communication and customer-facing skills

• Motivation to develop new business and build long-term customer relationships

• Good English communication skills

The selected candidate will receive professional technical training directly from the manufacturer, together with ongoing support from its engineering and product teams.

As part of the advanced recruitment process, candidates will also participate in a technical interview with the manufacturer’s engineering team.

The position offers exposure to advanced technologies and leading customers across AI, data centers, networking, telecom, defense and other high-tech markets.
