GenAI Engineer - 244059

A leading defense company located in Be’er Ya’akov is looking for a creative and technology-driven team member to join its Data Science department in a role combining development and research in the field of Generative AI.

The role includes building LLM-based products, developing autonomous agents (Agents), and performing advanced Prompt Engineering to solve complex problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Agent Development: Build intelligent AI Agents capable of executing sequences of actions, making decisions, and interacting with external systems.
• RAG Systems: Build and maintain Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures to connect models with organizational knowledge.
• Python Development: Write code to implement application logic, work with frameworks such as LangChain and LlamaIndex, and integrate solutions into the company’s products.
• Prompt Engineering & Optimization: Design, write, and optimize complex prompts (System Prompts, Chain-of-Thought) to maximize the performance of various language models.
• Research and implement new AI tools and conduct performance evaluations (Evaluation) of model outputs.

Requirements

• Education: B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering & Management, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science – required.
• Software Development Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Full Stack development and Python programming – required.
• Generative AI Experience: At least 2 years of hands-on experience developing AI systems and products – required.
• Machine Learning: Deep understanding and hands-on experience in building, developing, and implementing ML models.
• Data Retrieval & Analysis: Experience writing complex SQL queries for preparing data for models and analyzing results – required.
• Frameworks: Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar libraries for building LLM applications.

Significant Advantages

• M.Sc. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science.
• Experience working with Qdrant Vector Database.
• BI Tools: Experience developing dashboards and visualizing data using Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Familiarity with deployment tools and Docker.
• Experience improving business processes through automation and AI.
