Head of Managed Security Services for a cybersecurity company

We are looking for a leader to own a growing managed security services operation. This is a senior role with responsibility for the teams, technology, service quality, and customer relationships that make the service work.

You will lead SOC and Security Engineering teams, guide incident response and detection capabilities, and serve as a trusted point of contact for customers. You will also shape how the operation grows: improving processes, introducing automation, and working across product, engineering, research, and sales.

What you’ll own

• Lead the managed services operation, including delivery, performance, technical quality, and customer experience.
• Manage and develop the SOC and Security Engineering teams.
• Build relationships with senior customer stakeholders and lead communications during escalations and critical incidents.
• Set and improve SLAs, KPIs, workflows, and service standards.
• Advance detection engineering, incident response, and automation.
• Support customer onboarding, renewals, expansions, and technical presales discussions.
• Translate customer needs and operational insights into improvements across the business.

What you’ll bring

• Leadership experience in managed security services, SOC operations, Security Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Experience managing technical teams and complex, customer-facing services.
• Strong knowledge of incident response, detection, SIEM technologies, and cloud environments, particularly AWS and Azure.
• The ability to discuss technical issues clearly with both security teams and business leaders.
• A track record of improving service quality, operational processes, and team performance.

Experience with IBM QRadar is an advantage.
