Senior QA Automation Engineer – Web3 Cybersecurity

Location: Tel Aviv | Full-time | Hybrid (2 days WFH)

A profitable, product-driven Web3 cybersecurity startup is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to take full ownership of automation and quality across a complex, real-world security environment.

Founded in 2023, the company is already profitable and its technology protects hundreds of thousands of users. Its small, sharp and highly experienced team, led by two proven founders with a successful track record, is building the next global standard in Web3 security—a real-time protection layer that detects scams, phishing and malicious transactions before users sign.

The company develops a real-time security and intelligence platform that protects Web3 users from scams, phishing and malicious transactions. Its technology analyzes websites and transactions before users sign, helping detect and prevent dangerous activity across browser, wallet, backend and blockchain environments.

The product already protects hundreds of thousands of users across more than 1,000 EVM-compatible chains and Solana. The company is small, profitable and built by a highly experienced, hands-on team, giving every team member significant ownership and direct influence over the product.

The Role

Unique automation work. The tests interact with real browsers, real wallets, live websites and actual transaction flows in environments that may change without warning.

You will own the automation layer end to end—combining reliable CI testing with real-world validation of what happens just before a user signs a transaction. The role requires strong technical curiosity, deep Web3 understanding and the ability to create testing solutions where no predefined testing path exists.

What you will do

• Own the QA automation strategy, architecture and infrastructure.
• Build and maintain advanced UI and browser automation.
• Test wallets, transaction flows, signing processes and dApp interactions.
• Develop automated coverage across browser, backend, API and mobile-related flows.
• Build fast and reliable CI tests using mocks and fixtures where appropriate.
• Identify regressions and changes across live websites and blockchain environments.
• Investigate complex failures across the browser, wallet, transaction and backend layers.
• Define testing standards and processes as the company grows.
• Work closely with a small, highly senior and hands-on engineering team.

Must-have requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on QA and automation experience, including broad ownership of automation systems. MUST
• 2+ years of genuine hands-on Web3 experience.-MUST
• 2+ years of experience in wallets, transaction signing, dApps and blockchain interactions.-MUST
• Strong UI and browser automation experience.
• Strong coding skills in TypeScript and/or Python.
• Experience testing complex systems across frontend, backend and API layers.
• A strong security mindset and the ability to identify unexpected behavior, abuse scenarios and risks.
• Ability to investigate unfamiliar systems, make technical decisions and work independently in a small startup environment.
