Freelance Social Media assistant | Remote

We're looking for a creative, reliable freelancer who gets internet humor, and knows how to turn footage into engaging short videos.

What you’ll do:

• Edit short-form videos for Instagram and TikTok using footage and briefs we provide.
• Pitch video ideas with hooks and copy, then refine the selected ideas together.
• Keep up with trends, memes, and formats relevant to our clients.
• Assist with day-to-day social media tasks and help coordinate content shoots

What we’re looking for:

• Basic video editing skills in Canva, CapCut, or similar tools.
• Excellent writing skills and a good sense of humor.
• A feel for pacing, storytelling, and what makes people stop scrolling.
• The ability to work independently, take feedback, and meet deadlines.
• Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects skills are a plus.

This is a remote-first freelance role with flexible hours around agreed deadlines. Occasionally, you’ll need to come into the office for a meeting or be on-site for a shoot.

This is an ongoing freelance position, paid hourly against an invoice. Hourly rate based on experience and work samples.
