🚀 System Research & Data Insights Engineer

We are a deep-tech startup developing advanced technologies for monitoring, analyzing, and extracting insights from power infrastructure. We are looking for an exceptional physicist or research-oriented engineer with deep intellectual curiosity, strong analytical thinking, and a passion for understanding how complex physical systems truly behave in the real world.

This is not a Data Analyst role, nor is it a traditional Data Scientist position.

We are seeking someone who can take incomplete information, complex field data, and highly uncertain environments and turn them into deep system-level understanding.

The role combines data exploration, physics, systems engineering, AI/ML, and direct interaction with customers and real-world infrastructure. The mission is to identify previously unknown phenomena, investigate anomalies, formulate and validate hypotheses, uncover hidden relationships between diverse measurements, and translate findings into insights that shape the next generation of our products, algorithms, and technology.

This position sits at the forefront of the company's research and learning efforts, working closely with the System Architect and directly influencing engineering decisions, product capabilities, and future technology directions.

What We're Looking For

✅ MSc or higher in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related engineering discipline

✅ Proven ability to understand complex physical systems and derive meaningful insights from data

✅ Experience working with technical datasets, measurement systems, or field-deployed systems

✅ Strong, hands-on experience in AI / Machine Learning with demonstrated practical results

✅ Experience with Python, MATLAB, SQL, or advanced data analysis tools

✅ Ability to lead technical investigations end-to-end, from hypothesis generation through conclusions and actionable recommendations

✅ Ability to work independently in environments characterized by uncertainty, incomplete information, and new challenges
