Embedded Software Team Lead

A leading technology company is looking for an experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer – Team Lead to join its Software Development department.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining team leadership, project management, system design, development, testing, verification, and maintenance of embedded solutions for user interfaces, digital signal processing, and display systems — supporting both existing products and next-generation technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of approximately 10 Embedded Firmware Development Engineers.
• Lead and manage embedded development projects from design through implementation, testing, verification, and maintenance.
• Design and develop high-quality embedded solutions for advanced microcontrollers, including multi-core architectures.
• Drive multidisciplinary development involving:
• User interfaces
• Communication protocols
• Digital feedback/control loops
• Digital signal processing
• Work hands-on with advanced laboratory equipment, including oscilloscopes, signal generators, protocol analyzers, logic analyzers, and other test equipment.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, project managers, and other R&D professionals.
• Work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and technically challenging environment.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science – required.
• 10+ years of experience in Embedded Software/Firmware development – required.
• 3+ years of experience leading an Embedded/Firmware development team – required.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken – required.
• Strong analytical thinking and excellent technical problem-solving abilities.
• Strong ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Advantages

• Experience with ARM multi-core processors.
• Experience with industrial and commercial communication protocols, including RS232/RS485, USB, LAN, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, Modbus, and similar protocols.
• Experience designing and implementing digital control loops.
• Experience with digital signal processing and embedded systems.
