Oracle Database Administrator

We are looking an experienced Oracle DBA to join a professional technology team supporting critical, complex production environments.

This position combines both infrastructure-level and application-level database administration and includes work from the company’s Jerusalem office, as well as regular travel to customer sites, primarily in Jerusalem and central Israel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, maintain, and support Oracle databases in complex production environments
• Provide both infrastructure and application-level DBA support
• Monitor and optimize database performance
• Manage backup, recovery, availability, and information-security processes
• Troubleshoot database and system issues independently, including at external and classified customer sites
• Support business-critical environments and collaborate with internal teams, customers, and additional technical stakeholders
• Learn and work with technologies such as Oracle Forms, Oracle APEX, ORDS, and WebLogic

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA, covering both infrastructure and application-related responsibilities
• Proven experience managing Oracle databases in live Production environments
• Strong understanding of database performance, Backup & Recovery, and information security
• Ability to make independent technical decisions and troubleshoot issues without real-time supervision
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team
• High level of responsibility and experience supporting critical environments
• Valid security clearance, or eligibility and willingness to undergo a security-clearance process
• Willingness to work onsite in Jerusalem and travel regularly to customer sites, mainly in Jerusalem and central Israel
