Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Tel Aviv, Israel, for a Mechanical Engineer / Practical Mechanical Engineer at Eco Wave Power.

The position combines hands-on field work with technical and engineering work in the office. The role includes equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues, repairs and system upkeep, as well as supporting mechanical engineering activities, technical documentation, system improvements, and ongoing projects.

The role will involve close collaboration with the engineering and project teams to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of the company's systems.

Qualifications

Practical Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Engineer

• Strong technical and mechanical understanding
• Experience in equipment maintenance, mechanical assembly, maintenance and repair
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, drawings, and blueprints
• Ability and willingness to combine hands-on field work with office-based engineering tasks
• Knowledge of safety protocols and standards in mechanical work environments
• Experience with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks – an advantage
• Experience with hydraulic systems or industrial machinery – an advantage
• Strong attention to details
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
