Backend Software Developer

Who are we - ISP Integration Limited (subsidiary of ISP GROUP) is providing services to its group companies in Israel and abroad. These are specialized in Fixed Income and Structured Products, as well as AMCs. They offer tailor-made Paying Agent, Placement Agent and Wealth & Asset Management services to their international clients.

What are we looking for - We are looking for a Software Developer to join our team and be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business applications, automation solutions, APIs, and digital products that support ISP's strategic growth objectives within a Finance company. The role focuses on improving operational efficiency, enabling straight-through processing, reducing manual effort, and delivering innovative solutions.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, operations teams, product specialists, and IT colleagues to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions across ISP Group.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

• Design, develop, test, and maintain internal business applications.
• Build solutions that support ISP's core business processes including:

Finance Product onboarding

Finance Product lifecycle management

Trade processing

Payment's processing

• Develop high-quality, maintainable, and secure software solutions.
• Ensure all solutions meet agreed business requirements and quality standards.

API & Integration Development

• Design and develop APIs and integration services.
• Integrate internal applications with third-party platforms and service providers.
• Maintain and support existing integrations across business and technology platforms.
• Improve operational efficiency through automation and straight through processing.

Product Engineering

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and business Analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technology solutions.
• Participate in solution architecture discussions.
• Deliver new features and enhancements to existing applications.
• Support the organization's growth initiatives through technology innovation.

Application Support & Operations

• Provide third-line support for internally developed applications.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and resolve application defects.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure applications remain reliable and secure.

Security & Compliance

• Apply secure development practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Ensure solutions comply with ISP policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support audit, risk, and compliance activities where required.
• Maintain appropriate logging, monitoring, and auditability within applications.

Documentation & Knowledge Management

• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Document solution designs, architectures, and support procedures.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing within the IT team.
• Support business users through training and knowledge transfer activities.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

• Experience in several of the following:
• Financial services experience
• 3+ years in Python backend development with some exposure to frontend
• Has worked with SQL with some exposure to Postgres Databases
• Docker and Containerization
• Microsoft Azure (Function Apps, App Service, Blob Storage, Key Containers, IAM, Managed Identities)
• Iaas and Paas solutions

Desirable Experience

• Wealth management or asset management experience.
• Securities, structured products, or fund administration knowledge.
• Exposure to regulatory environments
• Integration of third-party financial platforms and services.
• Has worked with AI enterprise solutions

Employment conditions:

• Location: Herzliya Pituach Industrial Zone.
• Job scope: 100%, Monday to Friday.
• Working hours: Monday to Thursday 09:30-18:30, Fridays until 15:30 (in parallel with the operating hours of the international capital market and the headquarters in Switzerland).
