Community Manager

Role Description The Community Manager is a part-time, on-site role based in Israel, responsible for nurturing and expanding Reidman College’s community of students, alumni, faculty, partners, and event participants. This role involves managing and moderating online and offline communities, including social media groups, mailing lists, and campus-based activities, while maintaining an inclusive and professional tone. The Community Manager will plan and execute engagement initiatives such as meetups, workshops, and events (including support for conferences like INSPIRATION), and will coordinate communications related to programs, clinics, and collaborations. Daily tasks include creating community-focused content, responding to inquiries, gathering feedback, and collaborating with academic, marketing, and administrative teams to strengthen relationships and improve the community experience. The role also includes tracking engagement metrics and recommending improvements based on data and community insights.

Qualifications

• Community engagement and relationship-building skills, including experience managing online and offline communities and fostering inclusive, respectful interactions.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to write clearly and professionally in English and Hebrew, and to present information effectively to diverse audiences.
• Organizational and project coordination skills, including event support, scheduling, and managing multiple tasks in a dynamic educational environment.
• Familiarity with social media platforms, community management tools, and basic digital communication practices relevant to student and professional communities.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (academic staff, marketing, administration) and to work independently with sound judgment and accountability.
• Previous experience in community management, student affairs, or related roles in education, healthcare, or wellness sectors is an advantage.
• Understanding or interest in complementary and integrative medicine and a genuine motivation to support a mission-driven learning community.
• Relevant academic background (such as communications, social sciences, education, or similar fields) is preferred but not mandatory when combined with substantial experience.
