Director Product Manager

The Role

We’re looking for a Director Product Manager to own and drive key product areas within Nexite’s next generation of AI-powered retail solutions.

This is a high-ownership role for a strong product leader who knows how to identify the right problems, shape product strategy, and turn complex data and real-world retail challenges into products that customers rely on to make decisions and take action.

You’ll work at the intersection of AI, data, retail operations, merchandising, and store execution, building products that connect real-time store behavior with recommendations, workflows, and measurable business outcomes.

You’ll work directly with leading global fashion retailers, deeply understand how they operate, challenge existing ways of working, and translate their most important business problems into scalable product capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead AI-powered decision and insights enable platform
• Own product strategy and execution for key areas of Nexite’s retail intelligence and execution platform — from discovery and definition through launch, adoption, and measurable business impact.
• Identify and drive high-value product opportunities, using customer insight, product data, market understanding, and Nexite’s unique real-time in-store data.
• Turn complex retail and operational challenges into simple, scalable, and highly actionable product experiences.
• Work directly with customers and senior stakeholders to deeply understand business processes, KPIs, decision-making, and unmet needs.
• Define clear product priorities, requirements, success metrics, and roadmaps — and make strong trade-off decisions in a fast-moving environment.
• Lead product discovery and experimentation around store optimization, merchandising performance, AI-driven recommendations, and retail execution.
• Partner closely with Engineering, Data, AI, Design, Customer Success, and Sales to drive products from concept to real-world impact.
• Act as a product leader across the organization, bringing strong customer perspective, product judgment, and clarity to strategic decisions.
  
  

• 7+ years of Product Management experience, with meaningful ownership of complex B2B products.
• Proven ability to lead a product area end-to-end — from identifying the opportunity and shaping the strategy to execution, adoption, and business results.
• Experience building data-intensive, AI-driven, analytics, recommendation, or workflow products.
• Strong product judgment and the ability to simplify complex systems and workflows into intuitive user experiences.
• Highly analytical, with the ability to translate data, KPIs, and user behavior into product decisions.
• Strong customer orientation and the ability to uncover the real business problem behind customer requests.
• Comfortable operating with high autonomy and ownership in a fast-moving startup environment.
• A strong balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution — someone who can define the direction and personally drive the details needed to get there.
  
  

• Experience building AI / GenAI products, recommendation engines, automation, or decision-support systems.
• Experience in fashion retail, merchandising, store operations, visual merchandising, or inventory optimization.
• Experience building enterprise products used by multiple personas across both HQ and store teams.
• Experience working directly with large global enterprise customers.
