Chief Accounts Officer

A global industrial group of companies is looking for a Chief Accountant for a significant role in the Finance Department.

Chief Accountant responsible for professional and ongoing management of the accounting team and for comprehensive financial and accounting processes for group companies in Israel and abroad.

• Professional and ongoing management of the accounting team – 2 accountants in Israel and 1 abroad.
• Responsibility for the monthly closings of the group companies in Israel and abroad, including accounting provisions and balance control.
• Execution and control of inter-company reconciliations of all group companies in Israel and abroad.
• Execution of bank reconciliations of the group companies.
• Responsibility for the fixed assets of the group companies, including asset registration, depreciation and adjustments.
• Preparation and reporting of consolidated VAT of the group companies in Israel.
• Focusing and handling the group's factoring and credit insurance (BASSAH).
• Ongoing work with the Finance Manager and providing professional solutions on accounting issues.

• Type 3 accounting and experience as a chief accountant / balance sheet manager - mandatory.

• Experience in team management.
• Experience in monthly closings, bank reconciliations and inter-company reconciliations.
• Experience working in a multi-company environment - a significant advantage.
• Experience in Priority - a significant advantage.
• High proficiency in Excel and good English.
