IT Systems Team Lead

IT Systems Team Lead | Petah Tikva | Hybrid

A leading cybersecurity company is looking for an experienced IT Systems Team Lead to join its global IT organization.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining people management, infrastructure ownership, and technical delivery across on-prem and cloud environments. You will lead a team of IT infrastructure professionals while remaining technically involved in architecture, troubleshooting, modernization, automation, and complex infrastructure projects.

What you'll do:

• Lead, mentor, and develop an IT Systems team
• Own and continuously improve global IT infrastructure across datacenter, cloud, and hybrid environments
• Lead infrastructure projects, upgrades, integrations, and modernization initiatives
• Serve as a senior technical escalation point for complex infrastructure challenges
• Manage Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, Windows, Linux, and macOS environments
• Manage virtualization, servers, storage, backup, and endpoint infrastructure
• Drive automation using PowerShell and/or Python
• Support and improve cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS
• Promote infrastructure-as-code and modern DevOps practices
• Strengthen infrastructure security, availability, reliability, and operational processes
• Collaborate closely with global teams and business stakeholders

What we're looking for:

• 4+ years of experience leading IT Systems / Infrastructure / DevOps teams in a high-tech environment
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft infrastructure and Microsoft 365
• Strong experience with VMware vSphere
• Hands-on experience with Azure and familiarity with AWS
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments and cloud security fundamentals
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and macOS
• Experience with Intune and Jamf Pro or similar endpoint management platforms
• Experience with enterprise storage and backup environments
• Experience with PowerShell and/or Python scripting
• Familiarity with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools
• Strong project delivery and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Excellent communication skills in both Hebrew and English
• A hands-on, ownership-driven approach with strong problem-solving skills

The role is based in Petah Tikva and offers a hybrid work model.
