Role Description The Senior Software Developer role at NIRU Group is a full-time, on-site position based in Surat. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining back-end systems and internal tools that support manufacturing, traceability, and supply chain operations. The Senior Software Developer will write clean, efficient, and scalable code, perform code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices in software architecture and object-oriented design. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, translating business requirements into technical solutions, integrating systems and databases, and troubleshooting complex technical issues. The role also involves mentoring junior developers, contributing to technical documentation, and continuously improving system performance, reliability, and security.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Senior NetSuite Developer to lead the technical design, development, and optimization of our NetSuite ERP and CRM environments. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business operations and technical architecture—translating complex requirements into robust, scalable solutions. You will own custom script development, integrations, and performance tuning to support our growing global operations and supply chain infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Development: Write clean, modular, and well-documented code using SuiteScript 2.0/2.1, SuiteTalk (REST/SOAP web services), and SuiteFlow to build custom workflows, user event scripts, client scripts, and scheduled scripts.

Database & Data Integrity: Architect complex queries and data models using SuiteQL and SQL Server / PostgreSQL to ensure seamless reporting, data visibility, and inventory traceability.

Integrations: Manage and expand API integrations connecting NetSuite with third-party enterprise platforms, e-commerce channels, and internal warehouse/logistics tools.

System Customization: Configure custom records, fields, forms, segments, and advanced PDF/HTML layouts to support evolving business processes.

Troubleshooting & Optimization: Diagnose performance bottlenecks, debug script execution logs, resolve integration failures, and optimize system speed and stability.

Collaboration & Governance: Partner with business analysts, system administrators, and department stakeholders to gather technical requirements, perform code reviews, and oversee rigorous User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deployment pipelines (Sandbox to Production).

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation of all custom scripts, workflows, and integration maps.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Experience:

Minimum of [4–6+] years of hands-on technical experience with NetSuite ERP administration and development.

Proven track record of delivering end-to-end customization and integration projects.

Technical Mastery:

Expert-level proficiency in SuiteScript 2.0/2.1, SuiteBuilder, and SuiteFlow.

Strong experience with SuiteTalk REST/SOAP integrations and external API connectivity.

Proficiency in SuiteQL and database management (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).

Solid understanding of core financial, supply chain, and inventory management modules within NetSuite.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail.

Excellent cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
