Software Team Lead

The office is located in Tel Aviv adjacent to the train station, operating on a hybrid model with one day working from home.

Role Description-

• Serving as a Hands-On C++ Software Team Lead (50% Hands-On / 50% Management), reporting to the R&D Director and leading an agile squad of 4 software engineers.
• Leading the design, development, and delivery of high-performance, real-time software systems for counter-drone airspace defense platforms.
• Architecting resilient, low-latency microservices and core components primarily in modern C++ alongside Python on Linux.
• Driving engineering excellence, code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical execution across the team.
• Mentoring and professionally developing engineers while actively contributing high-quality production code and solving complex low-level engineering challenges.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with multidisciplinary R&D groups, including algorithm developers, systems architects, and cyber research specialists.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent technological discipline – Mandatory
• Around 2 years of proven engineering management experience (specifically seeking candidates with one successful management tenure / early-career Team Leads) – Mandatory
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience in C++ – Mandatory
• Deep, hands-on development and debugging experience within Linux operating environments – Mandatory
• Solid working knowledge and hands-on familiarity with Python – Mandatory
• Proven background in designing and implementing Microservices architectures – Mandatory
• High agency, strong interpersonal leadership skills, and the ability to balance people management with direct technical execution – Mandatory
