About the Role

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team and take a leading role in building and improving our automated testing capabilities. In addition to hands-on automation development, you will help shape QA automation practices across the team, share your expertise, and provide guidance to other QA engineers. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members to ensure high-quality products and efficient, reliable testing processes.

This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proactive mindset.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and test suites.
• Define and implement automation strategies to improve test coverage, efficiency, reliability, and overall product quality.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Review requirements and technical specifications and translate them into effective test strategies and scenarios.
• Continuously improve QA processes, automation infrastructure, and testing methodologies.
• Share knowledge and conduct hands-on training for other QA team members.
• Review automation code and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality, maintainability, and consistency.
• Stay up to date with new testing tools, AI technologies and industry best practices.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in QA automation.
• Significant experience developing or playing a key role in building an automation framework from scratch.
• Strong programming skills in at least one of the following: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with AI technologies and tools, with the ability to leverage AI to improve test automation, test coverage, troubleshooting, and overall QA efficiency.
• Working knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP and VPN.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
• Solid experience with Git and version control systems.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and automation best practices.
• Experience working with cloud environments, such as AWS and/or GCP.
• Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex issues and identify root causes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
• A proactive approach and a strong sense of ownership, with the ability to work independently.
