We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Global Controller to take ownership of Cyolo’s global accounting operations and financial reporting.

This is a key position within the Finance team, with responsibility for building and maintaining strong, scalable financial processes across the organization. The Global Controller will initially focus on leading the controllership function and, over time, expand into additional areas such as equity administration, financial planning, and business analysis.

Requirements:

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes for the parent company and its subsidiary, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
• Take end-to-end ownership of the company’s global accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, accruals, and intercompany transactions
• Professionally manage and oversee the company’s Bookkeeper & Payroll Accountant, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the accounting records and payroll processes
• Ensure compliance with local and international statutory reporting, tax filings, payroll requirements, and financial regulations, primarily in Israel and the U.S.
• Own the implementation and ongoing compliance of the company’s transfer pricing policies, including intercompany reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with the company’s revenue recognition policies under ASC 606 and lead ongoing improvements to revenue-related processes and controls
• Establish, document, and continuously improve accounting policies, internal controls, and scalable financial processes
• Coordinate and lead the annual audit and serve as the primary point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and other professional service providers
• Support the administration and accounting of the company’s equity plans and stock-based compensation
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support management decisions and business performance
• Identify and implement systems, automation, and AI-based solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and visibility across Finance
• Lead additional accounting, finance, and cross-functional projects as the company continues to scale
  
  

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a background in a Big 4 accounting firm
• 6+ years of relevant accounting and finance experience, including meaningful experience in a Controller position
• Proven experience in a global high-tech company; experience in a SaaS or cybersecurity company is a strong advantage
• Strong, hands-on knowledge of US GAAP, including revenue recognition under ASC 606, consolidation, intercompany accounting, and stock-based compensation
• Experience leading complex monthly and annual closing processes across multiple legal entities
• Strong understanding of financial controls, statutory reporting, payroll, and tax compliance in Israel and the U.S.
• Experience managing and professionally overseeing accounting and payroll team members
• High proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Excel
• Experience supporting audits and working directly with external auditors and tax advisors
• Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights
• Demonstrated ability to improve processes and utilize automation and AI tools to streamline financial workflows
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive, hands-on, highly accountable, and comfortable working independently while collaborating across the organization
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and align stakeholders at all levels
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, equity administration, FP&A processes, or BI tools is an advantage
• Fluent English, both written and spoken
