Head of SEO

Head of SEO - theLotter.com

We are looking for an experienced Head of SEO to lead the organic growth strategy for theLotter.com across multiple international markets.

This is a senior, hands-on role requiring strong Technical SEO expertise, combined with content strategy, international SEO, analytics and a good understanding of the evolving AI Search / GEO landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and execute the global SEO strategy and organic growth roadmap.
• Lead Technical SEO - crawling, indexing, site architecture, JavaScript SEO, Core Web Vitals, schema, canonicals, redirects and sitemaps.
• Manage international and multilingual SEO, including hreflang and GEO-specific optimization.
• Work closely with Product and R&D to identify technical issues and implement SEO improvements.
• Lead content and keyword strategy, optimization and organic growth initiatives.
• Develop theLotter's visibility across AI search platforms such as ChatGPT, Google AI experiences, Gemini and Perplexity.
• Monitor SEO performance and connect organic growth to traffic, conversions and revenue.
• Lead and develop the SEO and Content team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of SEO experience with proven organic growth results.
• Strong hands-on Technical SEO expertise.
• Experience with large, international and multilingual websites.
• Strong understanding of content SEO and AI Search / GEO.
• Experience working directly with developers and Product teams.
• Strong analytical and commercial mindset.
• Experience managing SEO and/or Content teams.

Tools

Strong experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs/Semrush and Surfer SEO.

Experience with AI Search/GEO tools, Looker Studio, Python, SQL, log-file analysis or SEO automation is an advantage.

Experience in gaming, lottery, gambling, affiliate or other highly competitive SEO industries is a strong advantage.
