Fintech Operations Manager

We are looking for a young, dynamic, and tech-savvy Operations Manager to oversee the management and control systems of our fintech orchestration platform, serving payment and acquiring companies. The ideal candidate is a fast learner with strong hands-on experience using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar), a solid understanding of the payments ecosystem, and the ability to manage a remote Operations team — as well as coordinate effectively across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the platform's monitoring and control systems
• Identify, investigate, and resolve operational issues in real time, including outside standard working hours when needed
• Leverage AI tools to improve efficiency, automate repetitive tasks, and streamline operational workflows
• Manage and lead a remote Operations team, including task allocation, performance tracking, and reporting
• Build and maintain KPIs and performance dashboards for the operations team
• Work with CRM and BI systems to extract insights, generate reports, and support data-driven decision-making
• Monitor payment flows and transactions to detect anomalies, fraud indicators, or system issues
• Coordinate and align cross-departmental efforts — including bridging Compliance and Dev teams to manage and oversee the integration stages of Compliance-driven solutions, as well as facilitating coordination between Operations, Risk, and Support teams
• Act as a central connecting point across departments, ensuring smooth handoffs and alignment between technical, compliance, risk, and support functions
• Build and continuously improve SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
• Communicate with international partners, banks, and payment providers regarding operational matters

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) in daily work
• Fast learning ability and comfort adapting to new systems and tools
• Dedication and availability to respond to urgent matters outside of regular working hours when required
• Solid understanding of the payments world (payment flows, processing, acquiring)
• Proven experience managing a remote Operations team
• In-depth familiarity with CRM and BI systems
• Basic understanding of SQL and the ability to pull and analyze data/reports
• Familiarity with API concepts and integrations (critical in a payments orchestration environment connecting multiple providers, banks, and payment methods)
• Basic understanding of reconciliation processes in payments/settlement
• Experience with automation/monitoring tools (Zapier, Make, Power Automate, or similar)
• Understanding of fraud and risk monitoring concepts in the payments space
• Ability to make quick, sound decisions under pressure during real-time operational incidents
• Strong cross-functional coordination skills — a natural “conductor” who can align and synchronize multiple departments (Compliance, Dev, Risk, Support, Operations) around shared goals and integration processes
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with international partners, banks, and vendors
• Strong prioritization skills when handling multiple issues or requests simultaneously
• Proactive mindset — identifying and addressing potential issues before they escalate
• Prior experience leading or managing a team (even partial/shift-level leadership)
• Ability to work effectively with global teams across different time zones
• Flexibility to engage with international clients/partners outside standard hours when needed
• Genuine drive and passion for continuous learning, personal growth, and staying ahead of new tools, technologies, and processes
• Excellent command of English (written and verbal)
