Data Scientist – Product Analytics

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join a global technology company and play a key role in shaping product strategy and business decisions through data-driven insights.

The role combines advanced analytics, experimentation, statistical analysis, and close collaboration with Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams. You will work with large and complex datasets to identify opportunities, understand user behavior, measure product impact, and translate data into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities:

• Work with large and complex datasets to solve a wide range of challenging product and business problems.
• Apply quantitative analysis, statistical methods, experimentation, data mining, and other analytical approaches.
• Define and monitor key product metrics, goals, and success measures.
• Identify opportunities and product levers and provide insights that influence product roadmaps and priorities.
• Design and analyze experiments and evaluate the impact of product initiatives.
• Identify trends, understand user behavior, and analyze long-term product performance.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to influence product strategy and investment decisions.
• Lead data-driven projects from problem definition through analysis, recommendations, and execution.
• Leverage AI tools to optimize workflows and improve efficiency and quality.
• Contribute to responsible and effective use of AI across analytical workflows.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in Data Science, Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong experience with SQL and programming/scripting languages such as Python and/or R.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or another relevant quantitative/technical field.
• Strong experience solving analytical problems using quantitative and statistical approaches.
• Experience defining metrics, designing and analyzing experiments, and translating findings into actionable insights.
• Experience leading data-driven projects from definition through execution.
• Strong understanding of user behavior, product ecosystems, and long-term product trends.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to turn complex analysis into clear business insights.
• Proven ability to collaborate with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Advantages:

• Experience integrating AI tools into analytical workflows to drive measurable improvements in efficiency or quality.
• Experience with responsible AI practices, including risk assessment, bias mitigation, and quality reviews.
• Experience with Prompt Engineering, Context Engineering, Agent Orchestration, or other emerging AI technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to continuously develop AI skills and stay current with emerging technologies.
