Technology & Commercial Legal Counsel | Maternity Leave Replacement

We are looking for an experienced Technology, Privacy & Commercial Legal Counsel to join a leading organization for a maternity leave replacement role of approximately one year, with the potential for extension.

This is an exciting opportunity for an in-house lawyer looking to work at the intersection of commercial law, technology, information systems, privacy and regulation.

About the role:

• You will provide ongoing legal advice to companies within the group and work closely with senior stakeholders across the organization.
• A significant part of the role will focus on technology-related legal matters, information systems and privacy law. You will advise the business on legal and regulatory aspects related to technology and digital activities, analyze relevant legislation and regulatory developments, and support the implementation of new legal and regulatory requirements across the organization.
• The role will also include drafting and negotiating complex commercial and technology-related agreements in both Hebrew and English with suppliers, service providers, technology partners and other business partners in Israel and abroad.
• You will work closely with different business and professional teams and interact with various regulators, while taking part in a broad range of commercial, technological and regulatory matters.

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience as a lawyer
• Proven commercial legal experience from an in-house role within a large organization
• Experience or strong exposure to technology, information systems, privacy and related regulatory matters
• Full professional proficiency in legal English
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
• Experience conducting negotiations in English and working with senior stakeholders
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• High level of personal responsibility and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
