Chery Automobile is accelerating its connected vehicle and cybersecurity operations across EMEA. We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Security Operations Center (VSOC) Engineer based in Holon, Israel, to drive our connected vehicle threat monitoring, data governance, and compliance.

📌 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

▪️ VSOC Threat Monitoring & Incident Response: Maintain the real-time monitoring and alerting system for connected vehicle platforms. Oversee 7x24 automated + 5x8 manual monitoring. Provide rapid incident response, threat containment, and emergency support.

▪️ Security Data & Threat Intelligence Analysis: Perform deep-dive security data analysis, extracting features from log records and network traffic patterns to support threat intelligence sharing and audit readiness.

▪️ Data Governance & Regulatory Compliance: Implement data quality controls (resolving log gaps, traffic parsing errors) and ensure sensitive vehicle data encryption and access control strictly align with UNECE R155, GDPR, and global data privacy standards.

▪️ System Validation & Reporting: Support platform feature updates, algorithm validation, and periodic security reporting (weekly/monthly/annual threat analysis). Ensure compliance with Chery’s security governance and industry standards (e.g., GB44495).

🎯 CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

▪️ Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related fields.

▪️ Automotive/IoV Experience: 5+ years of experience in the automotive industry, specifically within Internet of Vehicles (IoV), connected car security, or VSOC/SOC operations.

▪️ Regulatory & Technical Mastery: Familiar with connected vehicle architectures, cybersecurity vulnerabilities, and key automotive regulations (UNECE R155, GDPR, etc.).

▪️ Communication & Documentation: Exceptional problem-solving, incident tracking, and technical documentation skills.

▪️ Languages:

- Fluent English (essential for oral and written technical communication).

- Mandarin Chinese proficiency is a strong plus (掌握中文者优先).

- Additional language capabilities are highly valued.
