AI Product Manager

We are looking for an AI Product Manager to own the product vision and roadmap for the AI and LLM layer that powers Shortical - from content intelligence that helps us understand what makes a series successful, to personalized recommendations and discovery, to new AI-powered tools for our Content and R&D teams.

You'll work closely with our Data, R&D, and Content teams, turning what we learn from millions of users into product decisions and features that directly shape how audiences discover and experience our shows.

We're looking for someone with strong product management fundamentals - but mainly a Builder: someone who wants to take AI from idea to shipped feature, take full ownership, and move fast in a space that's evolving every week.

Product is becoming the new full stack: people who live and breathe retention and customer LTV, who bring real experience and deep customer intuition - and who are as data-oriented as possible and know how to work with AI agents, or lead people who do.

Responsibilities

• Product Lifecycle Ownership: Own the full product lifecycle end-to-end - discovery, requirements and PRDs, design and development, QA, launch, and post-launch iteration - in close partnership with engineering.
• AI Product Strategy: Define and own the roadmap for AI-driven features across content intelligence, personalization, and creative tooling.
• Content Intelligence: Partner with Data Engineering and R&D to translate signals about what makes a series succeed into product features and decision-making tools for our Content team.
• Personalization & Discovery: Drive the strategy for AI-powered recommendations, search, and content discovery to increase engagement and retention.
• 0-to-1 Execution: Scope, prioritize, and ship AI-powered features end-to-end, from early prototypes to full production rollout.
• Experimentation: Define success metrics and run A/B tests to validate the impact of AI features on engagement, retention, and monetization.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with Data, R&D, Content, and Design to align on priorities and bring AI features to life.
  
  

• BA/BSc in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of Product Management experience, including at least 1 year working on AI/ML or LLM-powered products.
• Deep B2C product experience, with strong business acumen and a real feel for retention and customer LTV.
• Highly analytical and data-oriented - comfortable living in the numbers, defining metrics, and making data-informed product decisions.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, especially with engineering and data teams.
• Comfortable working hands-on with AI agents
• Strong product sense with a genuine passion for content, storytelling, or entertainment.
• Solid grounding in the core PM toolkit: writing PRDs and user stories, running sprint planning and backlog prioritization, and owning a feature through the full SDLC from discovery to post-launch iteration, typically in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical AI concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience shipping AI-driven features (recommendations, personalization, generative tools, or similar) from 0 to 1.
  
  

• Direct experience with LLM-powered products (recommendation engines, generative tools, chatbots, or agentic workflows).
• Experience in streaming, media, or entertainment product roles.
• A background in software development or engineering - a real advantage for going deep with the AI systems and agents you'll be building on top of.
