Full Stack Developer

Role Description The Full Stack Developer will design, build, and maintain web applications that power QED Science’s AI-driven products. This full-time, on-site role in Israel involves implementing scalable backend services, developing responsive front-end interfaces, integrating APIs, and ensuring secure, performant data flows. The developer will collaborate closely with data scientists, product managers, and other engineers to turn complex scientific workflows into intuitive user experiences. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, testable code, reviewing peer code, participating in architecture discussions, and contributing to deployment and monitoring processes. The role also involves troubleshooting production issues, continuously improving system reliability, and supporting new feature development from concept to release.
Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in modern front-end development (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Vue, or similar frameworks) and building responsive, accessible user interfaces.
• Experience with backend development (e.g., Node.js, Python, or similar languages), RESTful or GraphQL APIs, and designing scalable server-side architectures.
• Knowledge of databases and data storage (e.g., SQL and NoSQL systems), including schema design, query optimization, and secure data handling.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and DevOps practices (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure; Docker, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and logging tools).
• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including testing (unit, integration), version control (Git), and code review best practices.
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and translate product requirements into technical solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in AI, data-intensive applications, or scientific/healthcare domains is an advantage; familiarity with security and privacy best practices is beneficial.
