Junior QA Automation Engineer

We’re looking for a Junior QA Automation Engineer to join a fast-moving startup in the quantum computing industry.

This role is ideal for someone hands-on, with practical experience in automation, who enjoys working in a fast-paced product environment and is eager to learn and grow alongside.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated tests for high-level software, including SDKs, APIs, user-facing tools, and supporting services.
• Translate product requirements and existing test plans into reliable automated test scenarios.
• Investigate test failures, report defects clearly, and work with developers to identify their root causes.
• Contribute to the automation framework, CI workflows, and test reporting as test coverage grows

Requirements

• 2+ year of hands-on experience in QA Automation
• Hands-on experience with Python
• Hands-on experience with Playwright
• Practical experience with API testing and REST APIs
• Previous experience working in a startup environment – required
• Experience writing and maintaining automated tests
• Familiarity with software testing methodologies
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
