Network & Security Engineer | Cisco ACI | Leading Insurance Company | Central Israel

A leading insurance company in Central Israel is looking for an experienced Network & Security Engineer to join its enterprise Network Infrastructure team.

The role includes hands-on responsibility for Cisco ACI and Data Center networking, Cisco Nexus and Catalyst environments, advanced network troubleshooting, and implementation of network security controls across a large-scale enterprise environment.

What You'll Do

• Operate, maintain, and monitor enterprise network infrastructure across Data Centers, offices, and remote sites
• Manage and maintain Cisco ACI environments
• Operate ACI Fabric, Leaf/Spine switches, and APIC
• Configure and maintain Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switches
• Work with routers, DMZ infrastructure, and enterprise Wi-Fi environments
• Troubleshoot complex network issues end-to-end
• Work with advanced Routing & Switching technologies and protocols
• Implement and maintain network security controls
• Work with Firewalls, Network Segmentation, NAT, VPN, and Proxy solutions
• Work with NAC and Cisco ISE environments
• Participate in Data Center, DMZ, and infrastructure upgrade projects
• Support EOL equipment replacement and Core/Spine upgrades
• Collaborate with technology vendors and manufacturers
• Maintain network configurations, diagrams, and technical documentation

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of Network Engineering experience within a large Enterprise environment – required
• Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI – required
• Strong understanding of ACI Fabric architecture, policy management, and troubleshooting – required
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, STP, vPC/LACP, OSPF, BGP, HSRP/VRRP, DHCP, DNS, NTP, QoS, and Multicast – required
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus and Catalyst using CLI
• Strong understanding of Network Security, including Firewalls, Segmentation, NAT, VPN, and Proxy
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities
• High level of written and spoken Hebrew and English
• Availability for maintenance and change windows outside standard business hours when required
