Associate Program Manager - Unmanned Systems

We are seeking an Associate Program Manager to support the execution of complex, multidisciplinary programs in autonomous aerial systems and counter-drone technologies. Reporting directly to the Program Manager, this role combines hands-on project coordination with direct ownership of defined workstreams and cross-functional deliverables from initiation to completion.

Prior project management experience is not required: strong candidates may come from technical, operational, integration, supply chain, procurement, or support backgrounds and be ready to step into program management under experienced guidance.

Responsibilities:

• Program Execution & Support: Report to the Program Manager and support day-to-day execution, planning, and cross-functional coordination across R&D, operations, procurement, supply chain, and finance.
• Workstream Ownership: Own defined project tasks end-to-end—defining objectives, building execution plans, tracking dependencies, and driving deliverables to completion.
• Procurement Oversight: Drive project procurement requirements, coordinating closely with supply chain and purchasing teams to track orders, supplier commitments, and long-lead items.
• Integration & Delivery Readiness: Ensure total hardware and equipment readiness for all key milestones, proactively identifying missing components and resolving supply gaps ahead of integration, testing, and field deployments.
• System Rollout & Client Focal Point: Lead end-to-end system implementation with operational end-users, serving as the main point of contact; coordinate and guide internal teams to provide rapid support and resolve technical and field issues.
• Task & Action Item Management: Maintain action-item trackers and project task boards; actively follow up with owners to verify progress and unblock overdue activities.
• Risk & Bottleneck Identification: Identify execution gaps early, analyze root causes, propose practical recovery plans, and escalate risks to the Program Manager with actionable solutions.
• Meeting Facilitation & Alignment: Lead focused cross-functional working sessions, align teams on decisions and next steps, and ensure clear ownership and deadlines.
• Field & Event Support: Assist in preparing for and executing formal program reviews, integration activities, field trials, demonstrations, and customer deliveries.
• Documentation & Tools: Provide concise status updates and decision-support materials.

• Defence Sector Experience: Prior experience in the defence industry or direct interface with the IDF, Ministry of Defence (IMOD) or DDR&D (Mafat).
• UAS & Defence Technologies: Familiarity with unmanned aerial systems (UAS/drones), counter-drone technologies, robotics, or tactical systems.
• Hands-on Operational/Technical Background: Experience in system integration, field operations, procurement, supply chain, or technical support.
• Education & Training: Relevant academic degree (Engineering, Management) or formal project management coursework
