Computer Vision Engineer - 243919

A groundbreaking company in the space sector is seeking a talented Computer Vision Engineer to join its innovative team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge space technologies.

What You'll Do:

• Algorithm Development: Research, design, and implement advanced algorithms for pose estimation, segmentation, tracking, and 3D reconstruction.

• Hybrid Approach: Combine classical computer vision techniques with modern machine learning and deep learning models to optimize performance.

• Data Analysis: Establish domain-specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and continuously analyze algorithm performance based on the identified core domain features.

• Performance Optimization: Optimize algorithms for real-time performance, memory efficiency, hardware constraints, domain gap minimization, and multi-modal support.

Requirements & Qualifications:

B.Sc. (M.Sc. preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field and at least 2 years of experience.

• Imaging & Optics Knowledge: Strong understanding of classical computer vision concepts (SLAM, camera calibration, stereo vision) and photography/imaging fundamentals (shutter speed, aperture, lighting setups) and Computer Vision principles.

• Deep Learning: Solid experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and training CV models (CNNs, Transformers).

• Programming Skills: Strong proficiency in Python and C++.

Nice to have:

• Experience with 3D pose/orientation math (quaternions, rotation matrices, axis-angle representations).

• Experience with 3D tools (Blender) and synthetic rendering engines for visualization, simulation, or digital-twin work.
