Electro-Optical System Engineer - 243787

An exciting opportunity to join a leading defense technology organization and play a key role in the development of advanced Electro-Optical systems, working at the forefront of innovation in a multidisciplinary environment from concept and requirements definition through integration, testing, and customer delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of advanced line-of-sight stabilized electro-optical systems

• Define, analyze, and manage system requirements throughout the entire project lifecycle

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering activities involving optics, electronics, software, mechanics, and algorithms

• Conduct and lead design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR and additional technical reviews)

• Drive system integration, verification, validation, and qualification activities

• Work closely with development teams, business units, customers, and subcontractors

• Support customer demonstrations, technical presentations, and business development activities

• Ensure technical performance, system compliance, and successful project execution

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Physics, Electro-Optics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering

• At least 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering or development of complex multidisciplinary systems

• At least 5 years of experience with Electro-Optical (EO/IR), imaging, observation, or optical systems

• Proven experience leading engineering processes in a multidisciplinary development environment

• Experience defining and managing system requirements

• Experience leading integration, verification, and validation activities

• Experience working with customers and subcontractors in technical projects

• High level of English

Advantages:

• M.Sc. in Systems Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline

• Experience with military, defense, or aerospace systems

• Experience working with international customers and global programs

• Experience with EO/IR payloads, observation systems, gimbals, or stabilized optical platforms

• Background in requirements management tools and system architecture processes
