Structural Analysis Engineer

Eshed Group is seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer (Strength) to join a leading defense organization in the Central District.

In this role, you will play a critical part in the structural design and validation of advanced multi-disciplinary systems. You will lead FEA, perform detailed structural justifications, and drive the verification process from initial design to rigorous physical testing.

• Finite Element Analysis: Perform advanced structural and dynamic analyses using state-of-the-art finite element software to evaluate loads, stresses, and structural performance.
• Structural Justification: Author comprehensive structural justification reports and detailed stress calculations for complex mechanical components and systems.
• Testing & Validation: Plan, accompany, and execute structural and dynamic testing (including vibration, shock, and environmental tests), correlating physical test results with analytical models.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with R&D mechanical design teams, systems engineers, and manufacturing specialists to optimize designs for structural efficiency and manufacturability.

• Education: B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering – Mandatory.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven, hands-on professional experience in performing finite element analyses (FEM/FEA) and detailed strength calculations for structures – Mandatory.
• Strong foundation in solid mechanics, excellent analytical mindset, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering specializing in solid mechanics and dynamics.
• Hands-on proficiency with advanced analysis tools such as Nastran, Patran, MARC, or ANSYS Mechanical.
• Proven experience in performing structural strength and dynamic analysis on composite material structures.
