Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Quality Control Inspector (Senior QC) with deep practical expertise in precision machining who wants to lead and serve as a key professional and interpersonal pillar in our plant. The role includes ongoing quality control on the shop floor, CMM programming and operation, close collaboration with the production team during setups, and mentoring young engineers and students within the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-Production Part Review & Measurement Planning: Reviewing engineering drawings, selecting appropriate measurement tools during the planning stage, defining the correct inspection equipment for each part, verifying gauges against inventory, and ordering new gauges as needed.
• In-Process & Final Inspection: Conducting setup approvals and First Article Inspections (FAI), in-process checks, and final inspections for high-precision components with tight tolerances.
• Collaboration with Production: Analyzing measurement results alongside machinists/setters, providing real-time professional feedback, and driving a joint process to achieve a 100% compliant part.
• CMM Operations: Programming, calibrating, and operating CMM machines for complex geometrical parts.
• Traditional Metrology: Proficient daily use of traditional hand tools (height gauges, micrometers, calipers, gauge pins, thread gauges).
• Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Guiding and training junior engineers, students, and CNC operators as part of our collaborative and continuous learning culture.
  
  

• Professional Experience: 5–10 years of experience as a QC Inspector in a precision machining facility – Mandatory.
• CMM Proficiency: Proven experience in CMM programming and operation – Mandatory.
• Traditional Inspection Tools: Complete mastery of all manual/traditional measuring equipment.
• Blueprint Reading: Advanced ability to read complex engineering drawings and a deep understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
