You will work closely with our Design team to develop accessories that reflect RUTI’s creative direction and complement our clothing collections. The role covers concept development, materials, technical specifications, sampling, and finding the right vendors to bring designs to life.

This role is based in our Tel Aviv or New York office and requires working on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop seasonal concepts, sketches, color palettes, and material proposals with the Design team.
• Propose accessories that balance original design, everyday function, and our customer’s needs.
• Find and evaluate vendors, manufacturers, and material suppliers based on quality, capabilities, pricing, minimum order quantities, and lead times.
• Select materials, hardware, and finishes with Product Development, considering comfort, weight, durability, and cost.
• Create clear technical drawings and specifications covering dimensions, materials, construction, and colorways.
• Review samples, communicate corrections, and work with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues through final approval.
• Partner with Product Development, Production, and Planning to meet cost targets, assortment needs, and deadlines.
• Keep design files and sample feedback organized, prepare approved details for Production, and use customer feedback to improve future designs.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of accessories design experience with a fashion brand, with a portfolio showing products that went into production.
• Experience taking products from concept through sampling and production.
• Proven ability to find and evaluate vendors; an existing supplier network is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of materials, hardware, construction, and finishing, with a sharp eye for proportion, color, and detail.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, including technical drawings and product specifications.
• Strong organization, communication, and follow-through, with the ability to manage several styles, work within budgets, and collaborate closely with the Design team.

Experience across multiple categories, such as bags, belts, scarves, or jewelry, and experience helping a brand build an accessories collection are a plus.
