Backend Developer

As an AWS MSP, Cloudride is developing new tools and customer implementations using modern processes and technologies. We’re looking for a backend developer to join our Operations team. Using our software development life cycle (SDLC), this is a front-row seat to how modern products get built. In this role, you will write, review, approve, fix, and rewrite code we build using AI tools and technologies – turning product requirements into working software and taking real ownership of code quality.

• Work side by side with the CTO to take products from requirements to development, testing, and production.
• Build backend services and APIs and contribute across the stack where needed.
• Review, debug, and fix code, including code produced with AI tools to make it correct, secure, and production-ready.
• Integrate with cloud services and third-party APIs.
• Own features end-to-end as part of a small, high-trust operations team.

• 2+ years of professional development experience (backend-heavy, full-stack acceptable)
• B.Sc. in CS, Software Engineering, or equivalent (IDF technological units)
• Comfortable owning production systems: deployment, monitoring, incidents
• Experienced in leveraging AI tools for coding and debugging

Backend (core) – Python 3.11+ – Flask, PostgreSQL, MongoDB/DocumentDB, REST API

AWS – ECS Fargate, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, IAM, Terraform, ECR, CloudWatch

Frontend (working level) – Flask/Jinja2 templates (HTML, CSS, JS), Next.js / React / TypeScript

DevOps / Systems – Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git

Networking – TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPC networking, API Gateway

• Jira / JSM REST API integration
• Cognito
• Kubernetes / Helm 
• Linux – SSH, shell scripting, systemd, logs
