Senior Technician

About the Role

We are seeking an independent, hands-on Senior Technician for a broad and varied position that combines practical technical work with responsibilities across manufacturing and operations.

The ideal candidate is a strong technical executor who can take a task or objective and drive it from definition through completion. The role involves hands-on work with the product, including assembly, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving, as well as working with suppliers and subcontractors, supporting manufacturing processes, and carrying out operational activities based on the company’s evolving needs.

We are looking for someone who can move tasks forward independently, recognize when support is needed, and proactively engage the right people—within or outside the company—to achieve the required outcome.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform product and subsystem assembly, integration, testing, and troubleshooting
• Take ownership of technical and operational tasks from start to finish
• Identify and resolve issues arising during assembly, testing, and manufacturing
• Carry out serial production assemblies as required and at volumes appropriate to the company’s activities
• Establish, document, and improve assembly and testing processes
• Work directly with suppliers and subcontractors to execute tasks, solve problems, and transfer processes
• Support the transfer of assembly and manufacturing processes to subcontractors
• Collaborate closely with the R&D, Quality, and Operations teams
• Perform hands-on operational activities as needed, including incoming inspection, receiving goods, and managing and issuing inventory
• Support the establishment and continued development of the company’s manufacturing operations

Requirements

• Previous experience as a technician in a technological environment involving assembly, integration, testing, or manufacturing—required
• Strong technical abilities and a genuine willingness to perform hands-on work—required
• A high degree of independence and the ability to take a task from initial definition through successful completion
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and practical solution-finding skills
• A high level of personal responsibility, initiative, and the ability to drive tasks forward
• Ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, both within and outside the company
• Willingness to handle a broad variety of responsibilities, from complex technical assignments to essential day-to-day operational tasks
• Experience working with suppliers and subcontractors—an advantage
• Experience in the medical device industry—a significant advantage
• Experience in a serial production environment—an advantage
• A diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or another relevant technical field—an advantage
