NPI / Product Engineer

We’re hiring an NPI / Product Engineer to join a defense power electronics company specializing in rugged power supplies and power conversion systems.

The role combines engineering, production and hands-on problem solving, with responsibility for transferring products from R&D to stable serial production.

What you’ll do:

* Lead NPI activities from prototype to production

* Support product transfer from R&D to manufacturing

* Improve manufacturability, assembly processes and production readiness

* Work with drawings, schematics, BOMs, ECOs and engineering documentation

* Support mechanical and electrical integration of enclosures, PCBs, connectors, wiring and internal assemblies

* Investigate production issues and perform root-cause analysis

* Work closely with R&D, Production, Quality, Procurement and subcontractors

* Support qualification and environmental testing for defense applications

What we’re looking for:

* Mechanical or Electrical Engineer / Practical Engineer

* Experience in NPI, Product Engineering or a manufacturing environment

* Hands-on technical capabilities and strong troubleshooting skills

* Experience with electromechanical products – advantage

* Experience with power supplies, power electronics or defense systems – advantage

* Familiarity with MIL-STD and ruggedized electronics – advantage
