Product Manager

About the Role

Opmed.ai is a rapidly growing healthcare AI startup helping leading health systems optimize their operations. Our platform is already in use at major health systems and large networks such as Mayo Clinic and Geisinger.

We are looking for a Product Manager with a builder mindset to own end-to-end execution of product initiatives, from ideation through solution design, development, launch, and continuous improvement.

You will use modern AI tools as a core part of how you work to build and ship high-quality products faster. You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, AI, and cross-functional stakeholders to rapidly transform ideas into scalable products and capabilities. Whether building customer-facing experiences or internal product capabilities, you will focus on delivering solutions that create measurable value for our customers and the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of product initiatives from ideation through launch and continuous improvement, shaping intuitive user experiences and workflows that turn complex problems and algorithmic capabilities into effective products.
• Use modern AI tools to rapidly explore ideas, design and build interactive prototypes, test workflows and user experiences, validate concepts, and accelerate execution.
• Write clear and comprehensive PRDs and supporting product documentation for both humans and AI agents.
• Work closely with Engineering throughout development to clarify requirements, make product decisions, resolve trade-offs, and ensure successful delivery.
• Monitor product adoption, performance, and customer feedback after launch, and continuously improve the product.
• Prioritize work based on customer value, business priorities, and technical considerations.
• Coordinate effectively across Product, Engineering, Design, Implementation, Customer Success, and Sales to ensure successful product delivery.
• Contribute to reusable product patterns, documentation, and best practices that improve future product development.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of Product Management experience building B2B SaaS products.
• Hands-on AI experience - You can showcase at least three projects, features, prototypes, automations, agents, or workflows that you personally built using modern AI tools.
• Proven experience leading complex product initiatives or major features from ideation through successful delivery, combining algorithmic capabilities with intuitive user experiences and effective workflows.
• Strong product thinking and the ability to translate customer problems, complex workflows, and algorithmic capabilities into simple, well-defined product solutions that deliver clear value to users.
• Excellent ability to write PRDs and product documentation, with clear product context and requirements.
• Experience working closely with Engineering and Design in agile development environments.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively engage with inbound and outbound stakeholders, collaborate across technical and business teams, communicate complex concepts clearly, define a clear course of action, and influence decision-making across the organization.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-informed product decisions using qualitative and quantitative insights.
• Strong bias toward action and speed. You move quickly from ideas to execution, using prototypes and rapid iterations with Engineering, leveraging agentic workflows for faster delivery, validation of assumptions and continuous product improvements.
• Highly organized, execution-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Advantage: Familiarity with the digital healthcare domain.
