Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid iOS Developer role based in the Tel Aviv District, Israel, with the flexibility to work from home part of the week. The iOS Developer will design, build, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for TheMarker’s digital products, ensuring a seamless user experience for readers. Responsibilities include implementing new features, optimizing performance, fixing bugs, and collaborating closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver stable and scalable solutions. The role also involves writing clean, testable code, participating in code reviews, and staying current with iOS platform updates and best practices to continuously improve the mobile experience.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Mobile Application Development and Mobile Applications, with experience delivering production-ready mobile products.
• Proficiency in iOS Development and iOS frameworks, including core iOS APIs and tools (e.g., Swift, Xcode, UIKit/SwiftUI).
• Solid Software Development skills, including understanding of OOP, design patterns, version control (Git), and testing practices.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, handling data securely, and optimizing app performance and reliability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, and manage tasks independently.
• Experience with analytics, push notifications, and App Store deployment processes is an advantage.
• Familiarity with media or news applications and an interest in business and financial content are beneficial.
