Mertens - MalamTeam is hiring a SOC Analyst for an entry-level position at a government organization in Southern Israel.
The role includes continuous monitoring of information security systems and identifying cyber incidents using advanced SOC tools.
Responsibilities:
Monitoring information security systems and identifying cyber incidents
Performing initial investigation and analyzing security alerts
Documenting findings and escalating incidents according to established procedures
Working closely with IT and Information Security teams
Preparing reports and maintaining a high level of security across organizational systems
Requirements:
At least 2 years of Technical Support or Help Desk experience
Military background in technical support roles is a significant advantage
Basic knowledge and understanding of networking and information security
Availability for 24/7 shift work
