Procurement Buyer - Raw Materials / Construction / Electronics

Leading Defense Company | Central Israel

A leading defense company in central Israel is expanding its Procurement team.

Procurement Buyers in the following domains:

• Raw Materials Procurement
• Construction & Infrastructure Procurement
• Electronics Procurement

Responsibilities-

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes within the relevant domain (Raw Materials, Construction & Infrastructure, or Electronics).
• Issue RFQs, conduct commercial negotiations, and execute supplier agreements in accordance with company procedures.
• Work closely with subcontractors and cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Finance, and Project Management.
• Create and manage purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and expedite supply according to project schedules and operational needs.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers, maintain ongoing supplier relationships, and support cost reduction initiatives.

Requirements-

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering & Management, Logistics, Economics, or a related field - advantage.
• 5+ years of experience as a Procurement Buyer or Supplier Manager in technological, industrial, electronics, mechanical, or construction environments - mandatory.
• Proven experience in supplier negotiations and contract management - mandatory.
• Technical understanding in one of the following domains: Raw Materials, Electronics, or Construction & Infrastructure - mandatory.
• Strong proficiency with ERP systems and standard Microsoft Office applications - mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
