Embedded Software Engineer

We are hiring an Embedded Software Engineer for a defense company in central Israel, responsible for developing Embedded Real-Time systems and software modules for mission computers, working closely with hardware and processors, and performing hardware-software integration

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop Embedded Real-Time systems and software applications and modules using C and C++
• Develop software in Linux, FreeRTOS, and Bare Metal environments
• Work closely with hardware and a variety of processors, including ARM processors
• Perform Bring-Up and hardware-software integration
• Develop BSPs, Bootloaders, and drivers and perform unit, integration, and system testing

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of experience developing Embedded Real-Time software using C and C++, with preference for C
• Experience developing in Linux and FreeRTOS environments, including Kernel Modules and Device Tree
• Experience developing BSPs, Bootloaders, and drivers for ARM processors
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a specialization in Software
• Experience with Xilinx MPSoC and communication protocols such as SPI, UART, I2C, UDP, and CAN – an advantage
