Job Description

• Leading the division's cloud architecture – planning environments, infrastructures, and services in the public and government cloud, alongside leading the required change in the organization's way of working toward cloud adoption.
• The position is professionally subordinate to the Chief Architect and operates according to the standards and reference architectures established in the division.
• The solution architecture is built at two levels – cross-organizational and project-based – based on addressing existing needs, anticipating future needs, and maintaining the required flexibility.
• The Architecture Department serves all branches of the division and has close familiarity with the broad needs of its customers, existing infrastructures, and regulatory requirements.
• The department works alongside development, information systems, infrastructure, and information security branches in initiating and planning new projects, and accompanies the more complex ones until they go live.

Job Requirements:

• Relevant education in the field.
• At least 6 years of experience in cloud architecture planning in a GCP / AWS environment, including 3 years of hands-on experience.
• Over 4 years of experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect (in the public cloud), familiarity with PaaS, IaaS, SaaS environment management, and management of technology teams.
• Practical experience in planning and operating an organizational Landing Zone – account structure, environment isolation, and cloud networking.
• Familiarity and practical experience with cloud services across all abstraction layers: IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Planning and working with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS) and Serverless services.
• Architecture planning and migration from monolithic systems to Microservices architecture.
• Planning AI solutions in the cloud (LLM-based systems, agents, multi-agent systems, RAG solutions including vector databases, protection of sensitive information, and quality control of AI models).
• Experience with managed AI services in the cloud (Amazon Bedrock, AgentCore, Vertex AI Agent Engine).
• Planning cloud information security: IAM, key management and encryption, network controls, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Experience in planning resiliency, backup, and disaster recovery (DR).
• Ability to have a holistic, cross-organizational perspective, analyze systems and business needs, including proper data structure planning.
• Ability to plan application and infrastructure technology architecture, write High-Level Design (HLD) documents, and produce structured architectural deliverables.
• Familiarity with diverse technologies, ability to evaluate and conduct research on new platforms, and perform Benchmarking.

Advantage Requirements:

• Practical experience in the government cloud environment (Nimbus).
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management.
• Experience implementing CI/CD processes and taking a long-term perspective on implementing technological change within the organization.
• Experience in API management and API security (Apigee, F5).
• Experience in cloud cost management and optimization (FinOps).
• Knowledge and experience in the healthcare domain, including interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR).
• At least 3 years of practical software development experience.
• Proven experience in large organizations with over 1,000 employees and hundreds of systems, in an environment subject to government regulation.
• Relevant professional certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Professional, GCP Professional Cloud Architect).
