About The RoleA New Kind Of Media-buying Role

We’re looking for a Senior Media Buyer who combines deep PPC expertise, analytical rigor, and strong commercial judgment to help enterprise brands succeed on ChatGPT Ads.

You’ll bring the fundamentals of performance marketing, budget allocation, experimentation, measurement, and optimization, to a new channel where the playbook is still being written. Working directly with enterprise marketing teams, you’ll own campaign strategy and high-stakes allocation decisions, using Brandlight’s technology to analyze and optimize accounts at a scale that would traditionally require a larger team.

Our technology handles much of the analysis and execution. You provide the judgment: what to test, what to scale, what to stop, and how to determine whether it actually worked. You’ll be accountable for turning data into decisions and connecting campaign performance to each client’s business goals.

Your impact will extend beyond individual accounts. By translating lessons across brands into repeatable strategies and product improvements, you’ll help shape both our technology and how performance marketing is done on the platform.

What You Will Do

• Own and optimize chatGPT Ads accounts with a 7 figures budget.
• Work directly with marketing teams at leading Fortune 500 and global brands.
• Develop and test new performance marketing tactics for the emerging chat-based advertising channel.
• Develop, Design and test novel marketing tactics for chat-based marketing channels.
• Utilize Brandlight’s proprietary technology to build a high potential account.
• Monitor campaign performance, budgets, bids, and ROI on a daily basis.
• Analyze data and identify opportunities to improve campaign efficiency and scale results.
• Run A/B tests on context-hints, ads, landing pages, and bidding strategies.
• Prepare performance reports and communicate key insights and recommendations.
• Work closely with creative, marketing, and analytics teams to achieve business goals.
• Stay up to date with search advertising trends, platform updates, and industry best practices.
• Utilize agentic tools for cutting edge analysis - provide feedback and guide strategy.
  
  

• 7+ years of experience in PPC marketing, owning allocation decisions on paid search or social, managing 6 figures budgets.
• Works closely with 3rd party measurement partners (Triple Whale, Northbeam, etc.) or In house solutions at enterprise brands.
• Experience with utilizing attribution software both in MTA and MMM solutions.
• Experience with performing A/B tests.
• Independent. Part-time means you are often the only buyer in the room.
• Experience with marketing science - GeoLift experiments, causal inference, etc. - Advantage.
