Principal Data & AI Solutions Architect – Pre-Sales.

One of our clients, an early-stage technology startup based in Tel Aviv, is looking to hire a Principal Solution Architect with a strong Pre-Sales focus.

The company is developing next-generation AI-powered data infrastructure, combining modern data architectures, AI, and agentic workflows to help enterprises transform the way they interact with their data and extract business value from it.

The Role

This is a customer-facing, Pre-Sales-oriented role at the intersection of technology, business, and product.

As Principal Solution Architect, you will work closely with enterprise customers throughout the technical sales and solution-design process — from discovery and understanding business requirements, through architecture design, technical workshops and Proofs of Concept, to supporting solution adoption and delivery.

You will act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, demonstrating how the company’s Data & AI platform can address complex business and data challenges. The role requires the ability to engage both deeply technical stakeholders and senior executives, translating technical capabilities into clear business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical Pre-Sales and solution architecture process for enterprise customers.
• Conduct discovery sessions to understand customer business objectives, data environments, and technical requirements.
• Design and present scalable Data & AI architectures tailored to customer needs.
• Lead technical workshops, architecture reviews, demos, and Proofs of Concept (POCs).
• Partner with customer Data Engineers, Analytics Leaders, architects, executives, and other decision-makers.
• Translate complex technical capabilities into compelling business value and customer solutions.
• Support strategic opportunities throughout the customer journey, from early-stage engagement through solution delivery and adoption.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor during complex enterprise sales processes.
• Work closely with the founders and engineering team, bringing customer feedback and market requirements into product-roadmap decisions.
• Identify recurring customer needs and help translate them into scalable platform capabilities.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Data Platform Leadership, or related roles.
• Strong experience in customer-facing Solution Architecture, technical Pre-Sales, or similar roles.
• Proven experience working directly with enterprise customers throughout complex technical engagements.
• Deep expertise in modern data architectures, cloud data platforms, and analytics ecosystems.
• Ability to design, present, and communicate complex technical solutions to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience leading discovery sessions, technical workshops, architecture reviews, and POCs.
• Experience with AI, GenAI, LLM-powered applications, or agentic systems.
• Strong business acumen and executive-level communication skills.
• Experience with technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, BigQuery, Redshift, Azure Data Platform, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Monte Carlo, Atlan, or Alation is an advantage.
• Experience in an early-stage or venture-backed startup is an advantage.

The position follows a hybrid model of three days in the office and two days remotely.
