Senior Accountant

Location: Ra’anana, Israel

Work model: On-site, 5 days a week

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant with experience in the IT / high-tech industry to take full ownership of our Israeli entity’s accounting operations and oversee accounting processes in Serbia and Ukraine.

This is a practical, hands-on role. You will personally manage key accounting processes in Israel while overseeing and reviewing the work of local accountants in other countries.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations for the Israeli entity.
• Personally manage VAT, payroll, payments, expenses, and income.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing.
• Prepare and review P&L and financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with Israeli accounting and tax requirements.
• Oversee accounting processes and local accountants in Serbia and Ukraine.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations.
• Work with auditors, banks, tax advisors, and other financial partners.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on accounting experience in Israel.
• Experience in an IT / high-tech company - mandatory.
• Experience overseeing accounting processes and external/local accountants in international operations - mandatory.
• Strong practical knowledge of Israeli VAT, payroll, payments, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing.
• Experience with P&L and financial reporting.
• Israeli CPA qualification - strong advantage, but not mandatory.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Fluent Hebrew and good English.
• Independent, accurate, and able to combine hands-on accounting with international financial oversight.
